With two weeks until Christmas, local legend Stanley Johnson set up shop in Park Central on a 63-degree day today and gifted us the blues for Christmas. His guitarist, Ray, noodled the blues as Stanley sang and played his sax.
We first saw Stanley when he showed up at Legends Roadhouse for a jam with Greg Casillas and Better Strangers in October of 2023 and it was an amazing moment.
Stanley and Ray go by “Just Us” and they are looking to get booked. Based on what I heard, I would love to spend an evening in a winery or restaurant or lounge listening to the bluesy sounds of these gentlemen.
