Comedian Mitch Burrow's comedy series returns to 9th Street Studios
Just when you need another good date night… Hilarious standup comedian Mitch Burrow is back with a fourth installment of his acclaimed standup comedy series, Liquid Laughs, and TheFUSE is thrilled to be the presenting sponsor for the event, September 30, 2023 at 9th Street Studios.
Mitch says this will be the best show he has produced here in Wichita Falls, and it's not hard to understand why. It’s an open bar, and Burrow tells me these are the 4 best comedians he has booked for Liquid Laughs yet. This is not a show you want to miss.
Dave Waite headlines this Liquid Laughs and is a charismatic oddball whose shows are non-stop fun. Dave has appeared on Jimmy Fallon, Jimmy Kimmel, Comedy Central, and he has a comedy special on Epix. Dave is a regular at The World Famous Comedy Store and the Hollywood Improv. His career in standup spans nearly 2 decades, and he has performed in every state from Alaska to New York. Audiences everywhere love Dave's self deprecating style and his brilliant observations on life that are delivered in the style of an affable dummy. Dave is relatable, hilarious, likable, and fun.
Fonzo Crow will be a featured performer at Liquid Laughs, and he is one of the best comedians to come out of Dallas in the last decade. His comedy will leave you in stitches with his stories about fraternity life, married life AND divorced life, the challenges of being a father raising step-kids, his love for his son and becoming a step-grandfather. Fonzo was a semifinalist for Shaq’s All-Star Comedy Jam Tour as well as the funniest comic in Texas in 2019.
Keith Ray is a little bit Hunter S Thompson mixed with Doug Stanhope with a little bit of Rodney Dangerfield sprinkled on top. A booze-infused weirdo with a dark and angry outlook on life that is delivered in a goofy and silly act. Keith has quickly become a staple at Joe Rogan's Comedy Mothership, and he can be seen nightly closing out the Showcases in the Comedy Mothership's Little Boy room.
Standup comedian and local favorite Brent Maples will be back for Liquid Laughs, this time as host and emcee, and I’m personally looking forward to that because when I saw him last time, Brent had one of the more memorable and funny bits of the night. It was dirty enough that I won’t summarize it here, but Brent’s gonna make a great host.
Liquid Laughs is September 30th at 9th Street Studios in downtown Wichita Falls. Doors open at 7pm, and the show starts at 7:30.
