The Ohio Bridge is one of two bridges that once spanned the Wichita River near this spot. The oldest span, built by the King Bridge Company of Cleveland, was completed and dedicated on the 4th of July, 1886. The span pictured here was built in 1911, and the older of the two spans was demolished in 1980.

You can’t drive across the Ohio Bridge anymore, but hikers and bikers use it regularly, and it’s a fantastic setting for wedding and graduation photos.
