Tracy Pollard’s booth for The Loaded Brush was set up outside Wichita Falls Brewing during June’s Art Walk. They were taking commissions and doing facepainting, plus they had art on display, and I got to chat with Tracy briefly. I’d heard about her Sip & Paint events before.
Everybody paints the same work and Tracy offers guided instruction as you go along. For $55 per person, you get nachos, a beer, and all the stuff you need to create your painting, including the canvas and paints.
Sip a little with a friend and laugh at how terrible your painting is… or, maybe it isn’t. Depending on how much you drink, maybe the loaded brush will earn its reputation. How fun, right? (Call a rideshare, please, if your brush gets loaded.)
