Dallas KISS tribute band Rock and Roll Over played to a nearly full house at The Iron Horse Pub last Friday night, and brought a faithful KISS tribute that must be one of the best in the country. In fact, according to Rock and Roll Over’s website, KISS themselves named Rock and Roll Over one of the top 4 KISS tribute bands in the world.

Prior to the show, Rock and Roll Over’s versions of Paul, Peter, and Ace were tending to their gear and getting ready for the set like any other band would, and the crowd patiently waited, but when “Gene” showed up, suddenly the crowd came alive with shouts and cheers.
They launched into a set that featured familiar choreography to those familiar with the real KISS, but one of the most surprising things was the setlist. Although they played all the big KISS hits, Rock and Roll Over also played some deeper cuts that we didn’t expect, like King of the Night Time World, among others.

Rock and Roll Over is a great KISS tribute and we hope to see them again soon.
