New Progress Pizza Location Opens
Much beloved local pizzeria opens in South Central Wichita Falls
Wichita Falls pizza lovers have a new place to get longtime local favorite Progress Pizza. After years serving up delicious Detroit and Tavern-style pizzas from their location inside Wichita Falls Brewing Company, Chef Kyle Dalka has opened a new, additional location at 3001 Garnet Avenue, just around the corner from Crunch Fitness, across the parking lot from Jason’s Deli.
The new Progress Pizza offers the same delicious pizza we’ve become accustomed to with a few service tweaks that make for an all new experience. The new location is a fast-casual model, where you order at the counter and you’re given a table tent with your order number. Beverages like water, lemonade and fountain soda are self-serve, with free refills, and Progress Pizza offers a selection of adult beverages on tap as well. Choose your seat in the spacious dining room and a server comes out with a small aluminum tray (a plate, essentially, in pizzeria style) and silverware.
Our server arrived with our Detroit-style carnivore on a larger tray, with a pizza server for separating up the slices to each person’s smaller trays, making it easy to share the deliciousness. We found the pizza as delicious as always, with perhaps a slightly crunchier crust due to their new pizza oven.
The new Progress Pizza location has three big-screen TVs that we counted, making it a great place to catch lunch without missing a minute of the game. Perhaps the best thing about their new location is Progress Pizza’s hours. They’ll be open 11 AM to 9 PM Sunday through Wednesday and 11 AM to 10 PM Thursday through Saturday. The Progress Pizza location in Wichita Falls Brewing Company will remain open. This new location simply offers another place to get your pizza fix from Chef Kyle and his awesome staff.
