Wichita Falls’ blues masters Lone Star Mojo are back with a new longplay, and for lovers of the one four five, it’s chock full of tracks that please.
“A Shot of the Blues” is the followup to 2021’s “Rough Around the Edges,” and this time around, the guys bring the expected blues explorations with an adventurous spirit — several tracks clock-in at longer than 7-minutes.
As expected, left-handed six-string virtuoso Mark Snyder brings a heavy dose of blues, accompanied by keyboardist Joe Splawn on his Hammond B3, bassist Tim Maloney, and drummer Barry Sloan.
