Rising country star Jake Gill made the trip to Wichita Falls yesterday for a show at Bud Daniel Park, sponsored by Wichita Falls Parks and Recreation, on a steamy spring night.
Gill performed an array of country covers from artists like Garth Brooks and others, plus a selection of original music, too, accompanied by a talented band that included several Wichita Falls musicians.
Jake’s story is interesting and compelling, including his brush with his own mortality almost 5 years ago due to a serious medical condition, and he included generous activism for children’s charities in his show. We’d recommend you check him out if you get the chance.
