Improv is back at Backdoor Theatre and TheFUSE caught the kickoff of the 2024 season. It was a delightful night of improv comedy in the vein of the popular show “Whose Line Is It Anyway?” and immediately apparent why improv at Backdoor Theatre might be the best date night bang for your buck in Wichita Falls.

This particular night of improv featured a Backdoor Theatre cast of regulars: Erma, Fern, host Jessica, Jon, Lelani, Mark, Michael, Nona, and Rox. The talented Backdoor cast performed side-splitting, sometimes risque skits that included familiar “Whose Line” setups — like Scenes from a Hat — and had the crowd roaring.
Backdoor Theatre’s season of improv is already set and tickets are onsale for all dates — March 2nd, June 1st, September 21st, and November 2nd. As Backdoor Theatre is proud to point out, every improv night is a sellout, so get your tickets ASAP for the best seating.
Non-alcoholic refreshments and snacks are available at Backdoor Theatre improv nights, and for adult beverages, you can BYOB.

In addition to improv, Backdoor Theatre has a number of other productions in 2024, including Church & State, The Vagina Monologues, Rogers & Hammerstein’s Cinderella, and The Grown-Ups. Follow their Facebook page for updates.
